OVERWIEW
Falco is made for viewing the peregrine falcon, native to Acadia. Visitors of Acadia National Park can safely observe these birds from afar with the monocular, and document their sighting using the zoom lens that attaches to their phone.
THE STORY
Discarded ammo from hunters is the cause of lead poisoning in peregrine falcons. The lead is eaten by the falcon’s prey and then makes its way into the bird’s body. Falco products use lenses made of lead crystal, which is made using recycled lead ammunition.
COMPONENTS
The kit contains a monocular for visitors to view the peregrine falcons and other wildlife at Acadia National Park at a safe distance. It also Includes a telephoto clip-on smartphone lens so visitors can record the distant sights they see.
INTERACTIVE PACKAGING
The box which houses all the items features a lens at one end so that visitors can insert their smartphone and use it as a projector. Photos from the trip to can be projected on the side of a tent or sheet of rock to be easily viewed by all.
