OVERWIEW

Falco is made for viewing the peregrine falcon, native to Acadia. Visitors of Acadia National Park can safely observe these birds from afar with the monocular, and document their sighting using the zoom lens that attaches to their phone.

THE STORY

Discarded ammo from hunters is the cause of lead poisoning in peregrine falcons. The lead is eaten by the falcon’s prey and then makes its way into the bird’s body. Falco products use lenses made of lead crystal, which is made using recycled lead ammunition.
